NEW YORK, NY – Winston Wächter Fine Art is pleased to announce the opening of two concurrent solo exhibitions this evening, October 30, 2025. The gallery will present Chromatic Frequencies by painter Betsy Eby and Portraits in Bloom by photographer Paulette Tavormina. Though distinct in medium and execution, both exhibitions offer a profound and sophisticated exploration of the natural world, capturing its ephemeral rhythms, intricate details, and enduring allure. The exhibitions will be on view at the gallery’s Chelsea location through December 20, 2025.
In Chromatic Frequencies, Betsy Eby continues her investigation into the intersection of music, nature, and memory. Known for her masterful use of encaustic—a demanding medium involving pigmented hot wax—Eby creates canvases that are both visually and texturally rich. Furthermore, the gallery will host an artist talk on Saturday, November 1st, at 2:00 PM EST.
