Amazing! We’ve been following your career since your work in D.C and we are quite impressed with all of the work that you’ve done. Tell us a little bit about your work at Allied Global Marketing.
Laura Pena
Absolutely. It was an amazing experience and I was able to apply my expertise in strategic marketing and partnership planning. I supported Hollywood movie studios by working advance screenings of upcoming movies at local theaters, including ushering, press check-in, and filling screening reports (which consist of audience demographics and reactions). During the promotional process, I fostered partnerships with local organizations through phone and email correspondence to schedule events and develop relationships with numerous clients– creating social media campaigns and drafting copy for promotional partners, and drafting and servicing media alerts and press releases to generate event coverage. My clients included top Hollywood studios such as Universal Pictures; Walt Disney Studios; 20th Century Studios; and Paramount Pictures; among others. My work with Mission Impossible Fall Out, starring Tom Cruise was profiled in the Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/reliable-source/wp/2018/07/23/mission-impossible-f allout-premiere-brings-hollywoods-effervescent-energy-and-tom-cruise-to-d-c/)

That’s such a major achievement. I imagine this set the tone for your career as you have continued to serve celebrities and major brands.
Laura Pena
I guess you could say that! However, I strongly believe that ALL brands and businesses need effective marketing to effectively communicate their message to their target audiences. This is why I accepted a position as As an Associate Digital Marketing Manager at Ringlet Studio an innovative impact company that provides integrated marketing for small businesses. Small businesses are the backbone of the US economy and utilizing my expert knowledge to help them grow was an accomplishment that I will forever be proud of. It allowed me to leave D.C with a bang!
At Ringlet Studio, I created quarterly campaigns for clients including editorial calendars, social media feeds, and email marketing to grow our client’s following, brand awareness, and revenue stream. I wrote copy 12 Instagram Stories a month per client to advance brand voice, boosting each client’s following by 4 percent. Additionally, I supported monthly analytics reports to clients including key performance indicators for Instagram, Facebook, and email marketing to inform and improve our strategy for the next 6-8 weeks. Though, most significantly, I conceptualized and executed targeted marketing efforts to promote Ringlet’s first-ever virtual conference through feed copy and Instagram story graphics.

Wow, that’s a huge accomplishment. This is exactly why we wanted to spotlight you this month! Since leaving D.C to work in New York, what have you worked on?
Laura Pena
I was hired as a Brand Experience Coordinator for Social Studies, which is a white-glove micro-influencer marketing agency. My clients included major brands such as Angry Orchard and Glossier. I fostered and facilitated influencer relationships in order to execute a multi-tier, multi-industry influencer marketing strategy based on identified business objectives and key performance indicators; monitoring campaign results in real-time in order to optimize campaigns as needed
